Welcome to Bedfordshire’s Premier Saturday League

The league was launched in 2012 to give Bedfordshire clubs the opportunity to play competitive cricket in good conditions while minimising travel.

The League will ensure suitability of grounds and facilities by insisting that all teams comply with ground/facilities criteria as set by the League’s AGM. This will include control of the playing area and wicket preparation, together with suitable changing and tea facilities. The current format is 40 overs with the side scoring the most runs winning. No scoring or losing draws. Teams can agree to reduce the number of overs and/or change the start time. The idea is to be a club friendly league and give clubs and players the type of cricket the want.
